I searched all over the place, and hopefully this isn't a repost. The T1 is advertised as a single tool that has 30+ functions, although it isn't cheap ($200.00 USD). I haven't seen one in person or used one, but the demo videos are made by Lee Emerson ("Different") so it seems to have some credibility.

I have no doubt that lots of cheaper alternatives are out there as separate pieces, but an all in one tool is a decent concept this one does more things than I had even thought of doing to the M14.

Here is the link.

(If there is already a thread about this, mods please delete and let me know where the other one is)

i think gnmontey here bought one, my memory could fail me though
for the price, i dont know what to think of it

Agreed, the BAD T-1 is not inexpensive by any means. It can't be, it's made in the USA. LOL

FWIW, I did the demo videos gratis because I think the BAD T-1 is a better mouse trap, so to speak. Retired M14 gunsmiths Art Luppino and Ted Brown, myself and others had a chance to provide input before the T-1 went into production. I know one of the two owners fairly well, he's a design engineer by profession and a good egg.

For portability, the T-1 is the cat's meow. Your range bag won't notice the weight but you're ready if something needs adjustment. I bought two of them.

my wallet will :(

A friend of mine had a pre production prototype that he recently gave me for free.
I have to say it is THE BEST TOOL I have ever seen !
I bought TE and MW tools for my garands and for my M1A's from Stone AXE.I foget the price but they were $40 or $50 ea, this tool does both. Also has a stock liner tool, flash hider alignment tool (about $65 for one around here) , tool for the gas plug and many other usefull tools. This tool is anything and everything you could ask for all in 1 tool .
I did not buy mine,it was a gift, but it is well worth the price if you ask me !

Me... buy a $200 tool:eek: I don't think so! Now there is a money pit item.

I'm into the < $100 stuff, like the M3A1 Garand tool that I have found no use for, the M-10 tool for dissa the bolt in the rifle which I never do, and head space gauges that I have used once.
