hey guys, I just purchased a beauty of a rifle, my question is for anyone who actually owns a gen 2 B&T APC 223, I only have about 100 rounds through it, while I stripped it today for cleaning, I noticed that the barrel /piston housing does move a tiny bit from side to side in the upper hand guard. I can move it about a 1/8th of an inch play, im wondering if this is normal? if anyone has any feedback I would greatly appreciate it. I love the rifle though, what a slick unit. I bought it brand new so its not been abused (yet lol).

Anyone have the answer for this barrel movement? I was going to buy one at FOC but since I saw this tread I am waiting, prices are crazy nowadays and I think this rifle is overpriced too but I need a semi after the advent of Mr. Drama Teacher.

There is one on EE they are asking 4500, even more than a brand new one and only for the rifle, not even mags, tried to buy it but prefer to pay for a brand new one instead, anyways, the pandemic is affecting people’s minds and judgement.

There isn’t an official thread, but I posted a review so you can also post some questions there.

Curious, are you seeing any large groups when shooting?
If you are, I think the screws probably need to be tightened.
Looking at the barrel assembly, the only area to cause play are the screw points

yes I found out its normal, wolverine told me they all have a bit of flex in them for barrel harmonics, no worries, here's my build so far. I love my apc, worth every penny.
