After reading the discussion about Alberta, I wonder what the rules are in B.C.?

I've never heard of a 14-day rule here. Maybe there is one.

I've been in a few places where there is a permanent outhouse built, maybe a hanging pole and that's it, though I have seen pole frames in a few places that I guess guys tarp up during hunting season.

I know of one cabin tucked away not too far from Squamish that has "Trapper's Cabin" on the door, and though the road has been closed off for two years now, whever I went near there, there was never anyone around and certainly no sign of any trapping ever having occurred there. Not a rusty trap, scrap of fur, nothing.

You can not stay in a registered cabin on some one's trap line no matter how long it's been since they used it. It's private.

I'm sure it's exceptable in an emergency situation. "It's raining and our tent leaks" is not an emergency!:D
