i recently set up 2 10/22's with B.C. folder's, and both have issue's with the trigger group pin creeping too one side so that the trigger bind's and you have a single shot with 12lbs trigger, not alot of fun in the bush if it happen's every 25-50 round's,so to fix this i can use J.B. weld , nail polish or lock tight right?anyone else have this prob?:bangHead:

I have the same B.C. folding stock.
How do your pins slide? They should be snug to the inside of the stock?

yea whamo it's the same stock, for some reason the pin holding the trigger&sear has enough room to creep to one side till the other side fall's out of the housing ,thus the trigger can pull sideways and bind.it's annoying when you have to field strip every 50 round's.

Are you sure you have the correct pin in that position??
Very strange....
If they are the correct pin(s), Lone-Wolf if right...a piece of duct tape should do the trick.
Are these old or fairly new trigger housings/pins?
Aluminum or polymer?

Just a quick question? What is a B.C. folder? & where can I get one. Tried Cabela's & they won't ship. So how do I get a folding stock for ruger 10/22??

B.C. = Butler Creek (the manufacture)
Rimfire Sports sells them and ships to Canada.
Good Luck!

The Butler Creek folding stock for the 10/22 has been a good seller in the past however...the US govt. banned the export of these stocks a few years ago and are not available through legal sources. If anyone is exporting these to Canada they are certainly doing this without permits as these would not be approved and they are exposing themselves to a world of hurt if this is found out by the powers that be. Phil.

If these stocks are being exported from the USA then they will not issue an export lic. except for military or LE. Shotgun stocks are not controled as they come under a different classification. Bushnell (who owns Uncle Mike's/Butler Creek) is now having most products produced in the Orient so they could in fact be imported directly from there and bypass the USA. Obviously exports regs change from time to time but I am not aware of anything recently. Phil.

I have the same stock and had the same problem. A piece of tape as a guide, and JB weld to fill the gap on the stock where the pin protrudes is good medicine.
I'm around 10 000 rounds and counting after this fix...

We just took in a new (not in box) Butler Creek stainless steel folding stock for 10-22. It is priced at $150 (won't last long). Phil.
