B.C. LEH is out

was just on the site.
there is no info regarding the 2019/2020 LEH season yet.
The page hasn't changed in over a week as I've been checking 2 or 3 times daily.
The draw and LEH regs were availlable April 13th last year so should be any day now.

just checked the site this morning and the LEH for 2019/2020 is up.

had a quick look thru it and I think I'm gonna stick to my plan of boycotting the LEH.
It's just turned into a scam to generate general revenue.
I notice they are still giving out tags for cow and calf moose too..... a practice I want to see ended in the LEH system.

Its what, $7 for an entry? That's one beer at a restaurant with dinner...

I'll be putting in for moose and a doe tag for sure. Maybe try for elk or something too. I can't take time off in October so I have little say in what moose unit my group will be applying for, but I think they were talking east of Merritt which had like 20:1 odds so that seems unlikely...

I don't drink ..... but I hear ya.
I will put in for the dec - feb elk draws but not gonna bother feeding the ministry money for moose draws.
There is lots of hunting to do that does not depend on draws and with the price of fuel predicted to be at or near 2 bucks a liter by summers end....... I'll need the 35 bucks i'm gonna save from not buying all those LEH tickets to help pay for hunting fuel.
on the bright side.... one less hunter putting in means better odds for someone else.

Limited Entry Hunting (LEH)
The 2019 Fall Limited Entry Hunting Draw is now open for applications.

Our group got 2 moose bull draws last year after 8 years of nothing. We were lucky enough to take 2 bulls but I know my chance for back to back tags is almost nil. I think we will focus on elk this year instead.

I always put in, as a added bonus. My yearly trips are all GOS because LEH are unobtainable to me.

One year I will get one and surprised and feel out of place
