Just figured you guys would like this, I sure do.... shamelessly stolen from the firearm blog.

Brugger & Thomet (B&T) has developed a prototype .223 Remington version of their APC9 submachine gun. We don’t have any specs on the gun, but we can see from the photos that it uses AR-15 magazines, has fully ambidextrous controls, a left/right swappable charging handle and a folding stock.

Another company jumps on the bandwagon! Looks the same as all the other "new" rifles out there. Nobody's making any real new rifles anymore and that's a damn shame.

Pretty cool!

But . . . didn't wolverine try to import the APC-9?

IIRC it wound up with a prohibited classification? I just barely remember hearing that the result was not-good-for-me-buying-one.

I disagree, I only need about 7 rail slots to mount my light on the side at the front, bottom rail I used an AFG2, and there is plenty of length on this rifle for both of those.

I run my light off the top rail and no vert/AFG I like to get my hand out forward as i can I also like have my light as close to the muzzle as i can

I believe you are correct. B&T would need to redesign a dedicated auto only. I believe this is stated in the Wolverine forum somewhere.

Looks like more of the same (really reminds me of the XCR) to me... not ###y enough to do anything for me on looks alone. Not innovative enough to make me want it.

Ok, yeah fine, I still want it.

like the XCR,ACR,Scar the front handguard/rail is way to short

Look at the screws holding the front handgard in place... I'm thinking modular system with 3 barrel/handguard lengths. The one pictured is probably the midlength, with CQB/DMR length handguards and barrels.
