Has anyone been able to swap a B&T rifle over to a non B&T handguard?
I find the handguard on the SPC9 could be better, I think it is the picatinney rail on the bottom (not required IMO) makes it feel off. I would like to change to something else.
My first preference would be an AR15 handguard but I would imagine that I would need to swap out the barrel nut? Do B&Ts accept AR15 barrel nuts?
Which leads to my second question, has anyone taken off the original B&T barrel nut? If so how tough was it? I read somewhere they use Red Loctite on them and they are a pain to remove.
If the AR15 handguard isn't an option are there any aftermarket companies that offer handguard for the B&T (or even other options from B&T)?
It is an NR SPC9 if that matters.
