I have seen somewhere that B&T is producing a pistol version of the TP-9. It would therefore be allowed to use 10 round mags that would fit the TP-9. :)
Who is going to import these ?

I'd personally be afraid of the "pistol" term. The anti's are keeping their war-drums beating against ownership of pistols more so than any other firearm. I'd rather opt for the carbine with the shoulder stock and vert grip.

The point of this isn't to produce another pistol. The point is to have a "pistol magazine" (legal 10 rd magazine) that fits into the B&T TP9 SMG (or carbine if you will) (which legally only allows 5 rds). Besides, the antis can ##### and moan all they want, I don't think even the Liberals would actually go forward with a completely ban and confiscation of pistols. The shear volume of pistols, paperwork and police required to carry out that action makes the prospect essentially impossible. At the worst, they'd just pass another stupid law that slightly erodes our rights just this side of causing a riot.

On another note, what's the difference between the pistol and regular TP9? I'm not seeing it...

ok if it gets in then we get 10rdrs for the tp9, do you think if you ordered a tp9 wolverne supplies would just change the 5rnds for 10ders?

I predict one possible Beretta CX4 Storm 'esque problem.
B&T are probably using the same magazines for both firearms MP9 and TP9 (I hope I am wrong).

Anyone able to confirm if they are marked MP9 somewhere on them?

It's going to be like the Beretta CX4 hoopla that occurred not too long ago - CX4 mags are prohibited devices (unless pinned to 5) and only the 92FS labeled mags are allowed to hold 10rnds.

So, unless the new mags for the new TP9 are marked differently (i.e. TP9, again can someone confirm if the MP9 says MP9 on the mags?) everyone is going to be stuck with 5rnds regardless of a new pistol model.

If the current MP9 mags don't have any MP9 references, it's safe to assume that the 10rnd dream is dead.
If the current MP9 mags are ID'd on the body as being MP9 mags... Yipee!! :D

I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
