B&T quad rails for PE-90/SAN rifles - free floating ?

Do the quad rails that attach to Swiss arms carbines and shorties touch the barrel or is the barrel free floated?

They are not free floating as they attach to the gas block as well.

From my experiance B&T makes VERY high quality parts, but they are definatly expencive!

Just get the B&T bottom rail and side rail that bolt onto the stock handguard since the quad rails do not free float I dont see any advantage just extra weight.

I had the quad rail system, but it added a lot of weight....Ditched it!
If you want to add a light, just throw on one of the side rails as suggested.
A vertical grip on these sweeties is just soooooooo redundant!
