Im thinking of buying this gun, I handled it in the store and felt quite nice. Can some other owners comment on how theirs are? Any problems related to this gun I should be aware of?
Is this the same gun as the Jericho?

Cheers!!

I had one of the original ones, not the latest ones, but I sold it because I wanted an accessory rail on a 9mm...I've regretted it ever since, it fit me perfect and I loved that gun....

Nice guns. Holsters are problematic to locate unless you can put up with fobus garbage.
Some don't like slide mounted safety.

One survived for quite a while as a rental gun over at DVC. It had it's usual share of issues with not being cleaned often enough but as I recall it took a long time before something hard to get finally broke. Given how long this was I'd say that they are tough as nails. And don't let the fact that it finally failed one time too many put you off. The guns they use see more ammo in a year than in any two lifetimes of private ownership.

It was number one on my own "first gun" list until I tried a CZ Shadow. But the Shadow is almost 250 more. Was it worth it? Only because of the issue with finding accessories as mentioned already. I was looking at IPSC so the availability of that sort of stuff mattered. As a casual range plinker they are superb.

And yes, the Jericho is the same gun. The Baby Eagle name is tied in with Magnum Research that used to distribute the IWI products. But since someone else is doing so it reverted to the 941/Jericho name.

Baby eagle

Hi, im with you, love the jerecho, weight, feel, balance, dont even mind the slide safety. Looking at a .40 at my local dealers, been in three times to handle it, might be this weekend to commit!......
Good luck with yours.

Because of the weight, some shooters prefer Jericho in .40 Cal. Finish is still an issue, so as accessories. But overall build quality is at par or better than average pistols. Not the best gun in its class.

I miss mine damn near every day. Being the young fool I am I traded it off. My single gripe with the gun is the slide mounted safety. But between how great it felt in my hand, and how clean and crisp the trigger was, I think the next pistol I'd be getting would be another jericho 941 (aka baby eagle).

I own a Jericho is .40 and I love it. I like that it is a full size pistol, and it has a comforting weight to it. I have a Houge grip because the factory ones feel like gargabe imo. Also is is incredibly easy to strip to clean.

Accuracy out of the box is great, and reliablity is superb. I have fired maybe 2k~ rounds through it, with only a handful (read 5ish) FTEs, and zero FTF.

Couple of things that detract from the pistol is it has polygonal rifling, so you shouldnt shoot cast lead out of it, and it seems to eat oil.

All in all, I am super happy with my first purchase.

If you want a molded holster, yeah, they can be a pain in the butt to find, but I got a drop leg HSGI rig for mine, and it fits my .40. Just had to make sure it would accept large frame pistols, and Darren at OST assured me it fits. And he was right, it works like a charm!

have the 9mm, no issue
great gun and well balance
and for the holster I bought this one

Drop leg is completely useless if you want IDPA/IPSC. (I do..)

That looks like a very nice holster. It's as least as nice as the Serpa Blackhawk I got for one of my semis. It may well be the answer for the Jericho/Baby Eagle hoslter issue.

Just be sure it comes with the belt loop shown in the lowest picture.
