If your someone in your group IS going to bring back up, might as well be you. If your primary gun goes south on the back of the pony, it would be to your advantage to have a gun that you know you're comfortable with that will meet the needs of your hunt. Consider seeing that 190 B&C ram @ 350 yds and buddy hands you his bubbensteined 400 lbs enfeild with a 4x tasco.
