I would understand the high price of some collectible and rare to find kind of thing. But for the current production modern rifle - what makes cost of production that expensive? No doubt it's a high quality product, though. May be self-aiming feature and ability to pair with your smartphone?

These are not collectible or original.
It’s an unfinished parts kit from HK, assembled in Canada with aftermarket barrel and bolt.
Missing proof marks and date code from the testing proof house. Tactical Imports is being very shady with these, passing them off as “rare” “limited” and “collectible”.
Sad to see legitimate dealers getting roped into this.
 
At the very least they should identify them as parts kit guns in the description.

Serial on fire control group will not match serial on receiver (nor barrel if you select the HK barrel option - all new production barrels are also serialized).

But, still very cool rifles.
