I was hoping to use this as a back-up, but I can't seem to find a suitable ankle holster...

Naw, I was just surfing around and ran accross Remington's Military site. This ###y little beast is part of a modular system built around the 870 for the LE and Military market. Remington calls this one a "Breeching Weapon"

I'm not sure why, but I really, really want one. Oh well, I can always dream...

Nice site I like remingtons idea of takeing one reciever and turninig it to a multi tasking firearm.
Sort of an old european way of looking at firearms, take one firearm make it a shotgun rifle combo, different barrels different calibers.

Sadly, due to American law, it is illegal to export them out of the US at all. But FWIW, they would be considered restricted in Canada unless specifically listed as prohib.

Hmmm.... I wonder if we could lobby Norinco to make something like this with their 870 clone. They would be restricted, but I can think of a a few people that would line up to buy them!

Who are the big norinco dealers in Canada? Maybe one of them could try to special order something like this in a small quantity to test the waters....
