Anyone get one of the tactical backbacks?
How large are they?im thinking of getting one to use either as a bob or range bag.
Decently made?

thanks!

Check the gear and accesories thread or the wilderness survival thread. Theres review about tactical back packs there.
I own the Eberlestock Gunslinger and Dragonfly backpacks and they are both top notch units that have built in gun scabbards.

Im looking for a review on the ones from canam, not just tac packs in general

can am chime in too if youre around

Just got mine in the mail lot of room nice harness good zipper ,it is a good one... JP.

Put me down for a camo one... Any good hats for sale? I lost my favorite hat to a range mishap.

For the money they cannot be beat. I bought 2 OD packs, I use one day to day to and from work and I use one for my range bag. They are well made, durability is fantastic, lots of pockets and storage, just a very good unit for the $$$ and the service from Canada Ammo was fantastic.

I own one from them. Alot of pockets with zippers and seem to be put together very well. If using it for a B.O.B it will probably be a bit tight if you plan on putting MRE's and mountain house packages in their but it def will work. Also the straps on the back are very comfortable. Overall its a great buy and I think im going to pickup a few more.

5.11 Tactical Rush 24 is probably the best for the dollar value, I dont like alot of 5.11 gear but this one they got right. Has alot of features and pockets on it. Comfortable to wear; I have had mine for 4 years and still in good condition, I use it daily. It is good for a range bag as it is not too big but has all the pockets required for the job. You can also put in all your gear, camera, gps, batteries, sunglasses, water, and a dozen other things. The pockets are well thought out and the pack really works in most applications. I would definitely suggest this to anyone, and in fact at least two people I work with have purchased the same pack after seeing mine.

TAD Gear makes some nice packs but are alot more then the 5.11. They have some great features as well and are slightly bigger.

Camelback makes some decent packs and they have become pretty popular among the military guys now. Lots of pockets, lots of options.

For the serious rucker there is Kifaru, this is for the live out of your pack situation in my opinion. They are expensive but awesome, I think it is quite a bit excessive for range bag use and you have to buy extra pockets if you want to keep things seperate.
