backyard coyote issue advice needed!!!

what would be the best way to try to get them to come out during legal hunting hours then in Ontario until i can talk to the MNR i have deer hunting gear but i assume id need a call or bait of some sort what would work best for me for this i have never seen them at 6am or any time before dark but all night i can see and hear them scratching at the sliding glass door ... last night they chewed a rope holding the patio gate shut

i want to stay legal in dealing with this as i dont need issues with my handguns etc with the cops i tried a 2x4 with 3 motion activated lights on it last night and it nada to scare them off coyotes are legal to hunt here all year round im in king township and i can and do hunt with my bow/x bow here tons of geese lol and the odd deer

Lethal action is a last resort

* A landowner may humanely kill or trap coyotes that are damaging or about to damage their property. Firearm regulations and bylaws must be followed.
* Landowners in central and northern Ontario (roughly north of the Severn River, Bancroft and Pembroke) must report coyotes killed in protection of property to their local Ministry of Natural Resources office.
* You may also hire an agent to act on your behalf.

So your first attempt for dealing with them was ignoring them, second the light thingy. Now it's time to man up and whack em.

Go and download some MP3's from the internet (squawky rabbits etc.), put them into your stereo and sit back to do your thing. Ensure that you are licensed.

Assuming that you are doing everything legally and have received permission, I recommend you buy a proper trap. Shooting is more challenging and time intensive - I hunt coyotes for recreation and I can comfortably say that it isn't as easy as going out, setting up a stand, and calling over bait - if you want to guarantee that you get rid of the problem coyote in your area. If you have only so much time in the day and you want to just get rid of this coyote then find a trapper and ask him/her to set up a trap in your area for you or you could always buy a trap and do it yourself.

Go to your local dollar store. Buy five bottles of red chillie powder cayenne, black pepper etc, etc. Dump most of them in the den and some around it and get your camera ready.

I would suggest two options.
1) Fly bait and peanut butter down the hole.
2) Sulpher bomb down the hole and fill hole in.
either way. both will solve problems..

If you have children or pets there will be no issue with MNR. You may want to call your local CO though. Most are really good and understanding. Personally, I'd have already solved the issue without asking anyone on here.... ;)
