I have a 3x9x40 Minox ZA 3, I’ve enjoyed
the scope. Very crisp image. But the cross-
hair is moving around with every shot, it’s
very difficult to place the cross-hairs on a
deer when they are at a 45 degree angle. I
want to sent it to the manufacturer for repair,
but I’m having trouble finding a link to the
manufacturer. If anyone can PM me the link
to Minox, I would be very thankful.

I'm not getting the gist of it
how can you tell the reticle is moving?
what's the difference between a full (deer) broadside shot vs a 45º shot scopewise?
 
Ray 231: The ocular assembly is probably loose on the scope. I went thru this issue with 2 different scopes. Two series of scopes have this problem. The ZA and the ZV, if I remember correctly. Canadian warranty issues, are no longer are handled with the USA. They don't have the ITAR permits. You have to deal with Germany. Their lack of customer service and apathy is huge. Went thru 3 scopes, with no success. I dealt with the warranty issue for 2 years . They finally offered me my money back, I took it. I got the Minox owners name and email thru a back channel. I emailed him concerning the failings of his product/service. He never replied. Minox USA in Texas is complete frustration. In talking to her, over the phone, she didn't even know what a reticle is. They don't seem to fix anything, just give you a new scope. Probably not even close to what you owned originally.
 
I think it is important that we clarify a few points on this thread.

1. Go Big Tactical is the Minox distribution partner now for Canada for Minox Optics. We will support all customers of GBT in any warranty service they require. We do NOT get products from the USA and all of our products come from Germany.
2. Customers must familiarize themselves with the Minox Warranty coverage and ensure their products are registered. This will ensure coverage if there is an issue. This warranty IS TRANSFERABLE once (*See the warranty for terms and conditions... the warranty process has changed so depending on the model we may need to seek clarity as to what warranty coverage is in place*) here
3. Minox scopes were previously imported and distributed into Canada out of the US. Those products made in the USA will require support from that distribution partner. German made products we can assist customers with support from Germany (such as ZP5 optics, HG binoculars, etc *** again see warranty terms ***)
4. We will assist customers in determining if warranty coverage is in place. Some scopes require permits to obtain and return. Not every scope will require an export permit to return to the US for warranty service. Where a permit is required those can be obtained to ensure your shipment crosses the border without issue.
5. We will not comment on service provided by the USA distributor or previous processes prior to us taking over this year. We will however assist customers, new and old, with information and processes to help them get what they need.
