I don't think that's a Stevens Favorite. I had mine apart a bit back and there are some similarities, but they are different. I think you are close though. I think it's a stevens single shot shotgun.

Looks like old single-shot break action cooey, remington, cil, etc. shotgun. Can't be sure which one exactly, but it's something like that.
