would i be disappointed? Just looking to trade in my wood stock/poor finish baikal for a better suited field gun. I like to hunt turkeys and I'm thinking a camo'd short barrel gun is better for the thick bush and rainy days,also i can get a rifled barrel for deer. will i miss my Baikal. thanks guys.
Baikal 153 for a Mossberg?

I'm not much of a fan of the semi shotguns, I've had trouble with the 2 I owned... (Beretta Urika 391 and Mossberg 5500, I think that was the model #...) BUT... I did some reading on the 153 that you have and they are highly thought of...
So... My take on it is... How well does the gun fit you? How well do you shoot it? My shotgun gets beat all around the place, I just need it to fit properly and go bang when I ask it to! So, don't worry about finish on a hunting gun...
