I have been holding out for the 45/70 but now I'm pretty sure we will never see it. I have just about talked myself into a 30'06 , where is the best place to get one of these and how are the trigger's? I handled on last year but don't remember, thanks.

I got one on sale recently at Goble's for $900, about $200 off regular price. Don't know if they have more, or if they're at that price. The triggers are reasonably crisp and shootable, but one is noticeably lighter than the other. Nothing you can't get used to.
While you're at it, pick yourself up one of the 11mm one-piece air rifle scope mounts for European spring-air guns. They fit the rib perfectly, and have more than enough clamping action to be perfectly stable. I lucked out and found one that was exactly the same length as the grooves on the rib, looks like it was made for this gun.
For the money, you can't beat this thing...unless you can find the .45-70.
