So I'm trying to find out what these particular markings on the barrels of my IJ-27 mean. Either there is no info on them, or my Google-Fu is weak.

Also, where would one find out what built-in chokes an IJ-27 has? I'm fairly certain mine is a Full over Improved Mod, but I'm unsure exactly where to find the marks.

Finally, are empty hulls supposed to fling out when you break the action open, or are they supposed to sit there for you to pluck out with your fingers? (This is my first O/U)

On another note, Trade Ex is a fantastic dealer, I received my Baikal the day after I ordered via phone. Completely and accurately described the shotgun, called the chrome-lined bores "very good" when they were, in fact, in pristine condition. Would definitely deal with them again...

Circled and drawn (crappy camera and/or cameraman) are the markings I am unsure about, all others I know. Any help would be appreciated!

Inspection marks.

Could be either ejector or extractor depending on your particular shotgun.

Regarding the chokes, are there any markings on the barrels themselves?

Not sure about the ad anymore, they took it down, I should have copy/pasted it. I would assume now that they are extractors, as they don't pop the shells clear.

No real markings other than proof marks and a few small scratches. No standard choke notch markings at least.
