Hello

There are no markings on the barrels and Baikal Canada does not have any information on this model

1) is this model chambered for 3" ?

2) any ideas as to choke top barrel is .680
bottom barrel is .700

3) ejectors/extractors are changeable with small screws on the forend bracket. Any hints how to do this? I have adjusted them quarter turns and have not got it to eject :(

take care and thanks for your help

The gun is 99% NOT chambered for 3" cartridges. Chokings were typically very tight FULL and very tight MOD. That's what yours is. The ejector/extractor screws are located in the front of the frame. They are visible when the barrel is removed. IIRC aligned with the bores is eject and across the bores is extract. I am doing this from memory of an old USSR Baikal O/U I had years ago. I could very well be confusing it with a Baikal sxs I also owned a while back.

JPC I was confused. With a little checking the switch screws are on the outer frame near the hinge pin. I now think that with the screw slot aligned with the bore is extract and perpendicular is eject. I was thinking of my IJ 58 double. Is the gun made in Russia or the former Soviet Union? It may not have anything but extractors on it. Lot's of info at EAA's sight when they were Baikal importers. Strong dependable gun.
