i recently got a baikal for a pretty good deal. my first autoloader or 3.5 inch 12 gauge. just wondering everyones thoughts on how they cycle with lighter loads. i got it used and the guy i got it from said it didn't work well with light loads but he also didn't know the gas system was adjustable so im taking what he says with a grain of salt.

mine doesn't cycle with target loads even when adjusted, it cycles fine with any hunting load. the manual says to break it in with 200+ normal loads before it will cycle target loads, i guess i'm not there yet!

This one seems to be well used and taken care of so hopefully it's fully broken in. Only problem is it didn't come with the gas adjustment tool so I'll have to figure something out for that. I mainly shoot lighter loads so if she doesn't like them it may be going up on the EE

Buddy recently traded one. Wouldn't cycle light loads at all but he used it strictly for goose anyway and would even cycle when a corn husk got sucked into the receiver.
