Ordered one last week and it arrived in the mail today. I am familiar with Baikal as I have owned and used a model 61 air-rifle and was so happy with it that I wanted to try the 161. For now, I just have a few pic's of it, but I will follow up with a range report soon.

Looks like a decent crown:

Easy takedown for cleaning with just 1 long bolt :

Mine functions flawless with most brands of ammo trigger has creep accuracy was poor in mine compared to my buckmark rifle or my 10/22 target . but it ate everything . the barrel is a pencil even a standard 10/22 barrel is thicker. I tried to get extra mags from Baikal Canada the gun comes with 2 but had no luck they said they would bring some in later we'll see if that happens .The barrel is pinned into the reciever I thought about having it changed to a thicker better barrel but I don't no if it would be worth it and the for stock would have to be opened out.

Sorry, gonna have to wait for any kind of accuracy report LOL. Went to the range today with 6 different types of ammo and just let fly. What a blast! Right now it's wearing the UTG red-dot, so I just can't get the kind of accuracy that I would expect from a scope as the red-dot is 5 MOA and covers the whole target at 50M. I will say that I believe from what I saw with the red-dot that it should be able to do fairly well, but thats another post, and after I put on the 6-24 x 50 I have kicking around. After 450 rounds down range, the gun failed to feed 3x, all with the cheap, crappy American bulk ammo, and no fail to fire at all. Types of ammo tested were:
American Eagle
CCI Blazer
CCI CB long ( failed to cycle, but as quiet as my Diana 54 )
Federal bulk
Winchester Dynapoint
Eley Target
Over-all, it seems to like the Win and Fed, which is great as they are the two I buy bulk. I have an email out to the place I bought it from about getting extra mags, but being the long weekend I don't expect to hear back until sometime Tuesday.

Hey Cyclone, I'm nout sure which ones I was using as I went through all the ones I had left. If I had to guess, I would have to say the hollow points.

OK, so here's a shot with it wearing the red-dot;

Now, here's a shot with it wearing a 6-24 x 44 for it's accuracy testing this coming weekend;

My only complaint so far is this:

To remove the bolt/return spring ect., this pin must be removed. However, once the red-dot is are mounted, there is not enough clearance to remove the pin completely. This shot shows it still wearing the UTG, good news is that once the scope is mounted, the pin does come out without having to remove the scope.

I'm not to fond of the looks... it seems to remind me of Canadian Tire paintball guns... but everybody likes different things! enjoy it! rimfires are tons of fun for super cheap.
