Got this in the mail a couple days ago from intetrammo.com. It's a Russian made Baikal MP-446C Viking in 9mm, basically its the civilian/training/sport version of the military MP-443 "Grach". From what I have read the main differences between the military version and this one are the polymer frame over the military steel, a weakened barrel to disallow the use of military armour piercing +P and +P+ ammunition and a standard 10 round magazine as opposed to the military 17-18 round, ones other than that they are the same. In the box came an extra magazine the manual, a steel cleaning rod/jag combo and of course the pistol. I have also made a list of some of the pros and cons that I have seen so far, I imagine more will surface once I get to the range and put a couple rounds through her. In the end for the money even with the minor faults it seems like it should be a pretty solid pistol and I can't wait to take it to the range.
Pros
-Fairly light (heavier than a Glock 22 according to wikipedia 110g heavier)
-ambidextrous thumb safety
-ability to change mag release if your a lefty
-DA/SA trigger
-light SA trigger pull (if I had to guess around 3-4lbs)
-feels good in the hand
-prominent loaded chamber indicator
-large ejection port
-basic construction
Cons
-poor machining quality( internally it's rough and even some burrs in places, needed to take some 2000 grit sand paper and polish the front part of the metal inner frame because it was contacting part of the slide)
-DA trigger pull is incredibly heavy
-front sight is machined into the slide, rear sight is only adjustable for windage other models do come with an adjustable rear sight
-actuation of safety isn't very smooth and takes a little bit of force
