I finally got mine in and I'm no gun writer but as there is nothing about this gun on the internet in recent news I thought I'd post. As said its a baikal and built in typical russian style. Fit and finish isn't the greatest and the triggers are only slightly heavier then my factory stevens 200. I have no scale. It is a good looking rifle with a decent looking set of very straight grained walnut looking hardwood. It may actaully be walnut. Blueing is rich and seems deep. The sling swivels don't touch the firearm in there 180 degrees of travel. The book has a card filled out stating this gun left the factory sighting in at 50m and 2 shots from each barrel left impacts 5mm vertical spread and 27mm horizontal spread. That is with a 405 grain load. I don't know if its factory or not. The front sight is adjustible for hieght much like the sks and it has a rear blade adjustible for windage. Its pushed slightly right and marked with a scratch. It has an 11mm dovetail raised rib scope rail. It is very stiff to open but my sxs shotguns were the same at first. It has adjustible regulation in the barrels by means of a jack screw. The recoil pad looks soft and feels harder then the wood. At 6 3/4lbs this gun handles great and shoulders very fast. Prolly gunna hurt to shoot a lot. Its got 23 1/2" barrels. Its rated for 28000cup so when my local store opens ima go buy for factory remington 405s to try and I have a box of hornady leverolution ammo to try as well. Hornady never got back to me about their pressures. I may not try these today as I'm not sure if they are over the 28000cup mark. I will post about how it shoots later today
