Purchased a Baikal 12ga over under from a member on here and took it out to pattern gun for upcoming Grouse season. Shooting 2 3/4 7 1/2's at ranges 15,20,25yds so far. 4 shot average is around 80percent in a 30in circle at ranges. Have Carlson flush mount tubes Cylinder in bottom & Skeet 2 in top.

Buy some CHEAP non target loads. The softer shot may open your patterns abit. 80% will surely ruin a bird for the dinner table. #6 will thin the pattern a little to help in not destroying the meat.

I don't understand what you are saying here...... What percentage of shot is in the 30" circle at each range?..... They obviously all aren't 80%.....

As has been previously stated AA cartridges are premium target cartridges which will yield tighter patterns. The chokes that you have indicated and the varying distances cannot indicate 80% patterns at all ranges in all chokes in any gun that I have met, and I have some particularly tight choked doubles.
You can easily vary patterns delivered by trying different brands and types of cartridges, and even more easily by loading you own cartridges.
I have obtained nice 25 yard IC patterns at 25 yards, in a tighter choke barrel, by using wads with petals cut to 1/2 height, and/or by varying powders/wads, using hulls with more capacity, so that there is more shot above the wad petals in the cartridge. One can also make further spreader loads by layering shot and card wads, though that takes more fuss in the loading. I am careful, however, to stick to published shotshell loads. I have just completed this process for a 16 gauge double with remarkably tight chokes, improved modified and extra full.

Cylinder choke shot @ 15yds, avg in a 30" circle 322 hits or 82%, Cylinder choke shot @ 20yds, avg in a 30"circle 310 hits or 79%, Skt2 choke shot @ 25yds, avg in a 30"circle 306 hits or 78%. Using Winchester AA 12ga Heavy Target 1 1/8oz of 7 1/2 shot which should be 393 pellets in shell. I didn't cut one open, so roughly. I used a 25' tape measure for distance and 36"x36" cardboard pieces for patterns. That's what I'm saying

Seems these Carlson chokes with that shell pattern tight. I guess I will be letting my birds get a little distance before I let lead fly. I can position myself for a better shot possibly with a few side steps either way. Not rushed, which is easier said than done with chickens bursting into flight at or close to you. Good rush though

I'm not sure what you are trying to conclude? I would tend to shoot different chokes at the same distance, say 25 or 30 y, and compare.
1) Are the top and bottom barrels well regulated?
2) Are the patterns even?

If you're concerned about dusting the birds too bad, go to 1 oz light target loads, or just take finesse shots. At 15 y, any choke will give you a pretty tight pattern, with the risk of excessive damage.

Mostly I was trying to get a visual of the pattern size and POI at various distances with that shell. The patterns are pretty even, a few holes but not terrible what so ever. As far as regulated barrels. The bottom barrel ( Cylinder choke ) at those ranges shot to POA. The top barrel ( Skeet 2 ) shot a bit high. I used a 1" black dot @ center of target. Aimed with a Trigger stick Bipod at 6 O'clock hold.

It's just me...... I put less thought into upland...... I use light loads and improved cylinder over modified in my upland gun...... It's what I have done for 25 years.......

Not criticizing you for thinking it to the next level, hell I sure put my turkey gun through the paces........ Lol

I know by looking at these patterns they are tight. Ideally should be 70ish %. I'd rather have em a little tighter than looser. That's what he said

Holy, don't get me started about turkey patterning. Boxes of shells, dollars in chokes & hella recoil. Expensive venture. Got an 870 with Sure shot pistol grip drop a turkey 40yds. Always patterned all my shotguns till I knew I would have as close to perfect as possible. Goose gun, Turkey gun, now working on Grouse gun

# 7 1/2 is a bit small for grouse in the winter. Bigger shot will also give you fewer pellets. Try #5. Thats what i use on Nova Scotia Grouse. I been using the Canadian Tire "Imperial" brand. I find them pretty good. They are made by Challenger.
