How to tell if my Baikal Over Under will take 3, I cant it find anywhere on the barrel?

Take the barrels off & you should see the chamber length engraved on the underside of the barrels where the hinge is mounted. '70' = 70mm = 23/4". '76' = 3"

If it's a Model IZH-27EM-M, then it is a 3" chamber.

These are the only marks on the barrels, nothing that shows length from what I can tell.

Just take an old credit card and cut a strip so it just slides into the chamber. Gently insert it until it stops. Mark it and then measure the length. You could also wrap tape around a dowel rod until it is snug in the chamber and measure the same way.

stop by the local reputable gunshop and say you want to buy some 12g ammo, but aren't sure what size is safe. They should have someone who can measure it for you free of charge (they want to to buy their ammo after all). I've had to do that with older shotguns which don't clearly show chamber length
