I know that baiting in Manitoba with the exception of bear and wolves is prohibited, especially for cervids...so does it not seem crazy that Cabela’s stocks it and markets it for use? It’s on sale at the front of the store right now. Seems like it’s asking to get inexperienced hunters or those who may not read the regs closely into trouble?
Anyone care to offer a guess? Am I missing something?
Can you provide deer with feed/blocks a month, weeks, days before season opener for herd health/welfare reasons and then so long as you stop by a certain point is that ok?
