Ballard 38-55

A while ago I bought a Ballard rifle that needed a new life. I picked up an unused Ken Briesen 38-55 barrel and a nice piece of walnut. I think this will be a nice rifle to shoot.

Very nice, I have a # 5 Rolling Block action fitted with a Green Mountain barrel chambered for 38-55. Currently at my gunsmith to the have the furniture fitted and finished.

I did the casehardening, it came out a bit different than usual but I still like it.
