Ok just wondering if anyone has the same problem .
my 6.5 x55 is running 2858 +-
if I run these speeds through any one of my 3 ballistic calculator
Rifle performs total different .

in order to get a calculator to preform the same as the rifle I need to tell my iPhone
im running 3300 fps

for those I'm running 24 inch barrel

I'd guess that your temperature and pressure settings are still on 'default' settings- 15C and 29.92 inhg. Part of the issue is that barrel lenght, powder selection, oal, and primer type have no bearing on trajectory- the fact that your density altitude is 2 to 4 thousand feet higher than the geographic elevation sure does.
 
I applied the local weather settings from kelowna international
but was up in the hills 1000 ft above the airport
Does it play that much difference .
I guess that could have been it . Thanks

If the airport pressure is 29.92 for example (ICAO standard) 29.82 should correct for it. Or use this aircraft density alt calculator

I'm not totally up on how much ballistics change due to altitude/pressure changes, so I don't know how much 1000ft elevation would change the drop, but if I'm reading right the OP is experiencing less bullet drop than the charts show him, and he is higher.

OP, I am not familiar with the programs you listed for your Iphone, but I would suggest "Ballistic: Advanced Edition" (my favorite) or "ISnipe" I have used both and they are very accurate from the testing I have done.

I find it does a close enough estimate considering all the variables, I just use the free online jbm, calculated data was about 1moa high on average with my 260 out to 800M, but weather/light can make a good difference on its own. Best to have your own charts in different conditions.
 
I would say your scope does not move what it is supposed to per click. This is not a problem as long as it is the same every time. For example I have my ballistic calc set for .23 moa per click for one of my rifles. I know it doesnt sound like much but it makes a huge difference.
