Ballistics App

Ah yes..... I remember now...
has anyone watched a series on youtube called "sniper 101"?

If so.. is it worth the time?

There's some interesting info in there for sure but it is quite the time commitment. The guy can shoot, no question. The ballistics program he uses way over-stresses coriolis effect and spin drift, if I recall. I remember getting some wacky numbers out of it when I tried it.

I havent even begun to watch any of it... I think theres like a 100 segments... I have WAY too many browser windows open right now! LoL!!!!! I just happend across this fellows infovids whue searcing out the recommendations all you guys provided me earlier today. Looks interesting. My interests and curiosity have been pique'd

oh, and I need a wall of monitors!

I have an Android so I don't know where you're checking. There's also a link for both on their website.

Oh.... Okay.... I'll go look again.. Maybe I missed it.. thanks for coming back.

heres another thought..
The wind speed capture device... "kestrel" it is? does that thing really work? Seems that one takes reading from firing position... thats got nothing to do with what might be happening a km away.... yeah?

The weatherflow meter is way cheaper than a Kestrel...

But all these devices do that, they only get the reading from your position only.

cool!
Ive been mulling over Strelok. I just haven pressed the buttong yet.... Chances are though that this is the way i am going to go/choose. I can always bump up to something else later on if I so choose...

I was reading Brapps "cant wait to reload" thread about an 850'ish yard shot using strelok. Thats good enough for me!

Been Using Strelok pro for a couple years.
I like it.
You can set up a pile of rifles and a pile of cartridges for each rifle.
