ballistics calculator question

My calculator is asking me my Zero height and Zero offset in inches, however I don't know what that is. I'd like to have a 50yd zero. My scope height is 1.5"
Any help would be great!

Your offset is the distance between your bore and line of sight. In your case 1.5 inches as you say. As for zero height I'm unsure what its asking for.

Might that be line of sight thru the barrel?

Zero height is how high you want the shots to go at zero range, normally 0.
Zero offset is how left/right you want the shots to go at zero range, normally 0.


If you are confused by your calculator, you won't get the correct answer.
