We have numerous relaible sources online for modern ballistic tables concerning jacketed and more conventionally designed cast bullets.

Is there any one or two external ballistic tables (terminal energy etc) just for lead round balls at black powder velocities?

It seems that anything, smoothbore especially, for muzzleloading shotgun & pistol is very hard to find info on the www?

So far all I find at something like Goex tables, they stop at .58 in rifles, and regarding pistols, seems to stop at 44/45 cap & ball revolvers.

Does anyone know of any decent online table/forum for these large calibre and less popular muzzleloaders?

If not, is thier a W.W. Greener (anyone else?) authored book I should be ordering fellas?

Cheers......................;)

Edit: My example is my .65 calibre muzzleloading pistol.
It's almost impossible to find load data for it on the web.
Regardless of all the reproduction .62 calibre sea service flintlock pistols being made presently.

Sam Fadala's book, "Gun Digest Black Powder loading Manual" has velocity and energy figures out to 100 yds for most traditional and modern muzzleloading and black powder cartridge pistols/rifles/shotguns.

The largest bore pistol that he has is the .58 cal. Harper's Ferry 1855.

Lyman's Black Powder Manual lists a number of common calibers and velocities but you would have to speculate for calibers and velocities in between. There is also a thick soft cover book (can't think of the title) which lists trajectories by ballistic coefficient and velocity. Assumes you know the BC however
