I've been wanting to do a little write up on these for a while and i got around to it just now. enjoy
These are my AK look alike's, the one at the top is the BAM-XS-B3-1 and below it is the AAA-X with the rare ten round mag design.
both are for sale and will be posted soon in the EE
both are side-cocking designs which are "sometimes" more accurate because the barrel is pressed into the receiver and will not
move unlike a break-barrel action that hinges down to #### the action.
both are in .177 cal
here is a close-up of the folding stock and mag of the AAA-X
The feeding device was ground-breaking at the time this was made (early 80's).
Here is a video showing the feeding action being worked.

both rifles have polished steel bolts and real AK rear sights graduated to 30 meters (30 being 3) in increments of 10.
front sights are typical SKS front sights and use the same tool to adjust them, they are also drift adjustable for windage.
The AAA-X's sight, the post has been cut and filed to fine-tune accuracy (not by me)
The BAM XS B3-1's sight, the post is untouched on this one
the loading port and chamber area are mostly the same, with the AAA the bottom of the loading port and bolt path is open to allow the magazine to enter the bolt path. the BAM's is open but is blocked by the front handguard.
part 2 coming in the morning
