banana Mags

Is it me or do those big long clips looks terrible on rifles.Is there no aftermarket companies that make a mag that looks like the S&W MP 22's? I like the idea of a 30 rnd clip but don't like a banana hanging off the bottom.

That is what sets the M&P apart in my mind. I just got the SR-22 and now want mags that aren't clear and two feet long to hold 25 shots.

They look fine to me.
What you really need to stay away from are those Cactus mags!

I never really liked them either. They take up a bunch of room and you can't even fill em.

a .22 will never look as cool as guns movie stars use.
if you are buying guns for "looks" you should stick with airsoft.

shooters ridge makes a 30 round double stack that isn't as bad looking.

Buying guns for looks isnt only for the airsoft crowd. Expand the pea in your head and look at different grades of walnuts and other types of woods that are made for....looks

Black Dog mags are nice.

The new SIG 522 uses them. As do the Kel-Tec PLR-22 and SU-22. Though, the SIG is being put through the wringer by the RCMP and the USDOS doesn't like Kel-Tec.

I paint my mags black but leave a clear spot near the bottom so I can see the magazine is full. I can't help you with shortening the mag though.

I did see Butler Creek makes a shorter 10rnd mag but whats the point when the factory rotory mags hold the same.

Easier to change magazines, thats about it.
