I'm looking at checking out some scopes, already getting a bushnell dusk&dawn on EE, but wanted to also have something to try out that's a level up from it.. My targets would be between 50-100 yards. Max budget would be say $200..

What are true/tested scopes in that range out there?

Thanks

I bought a Sightron 3-9x33RF and do enjoy using it.
Seems nice and clear without the AO nonsense.
I also have a Tasco World Class with the AO and it's not
a bad investment, but the AO tends to bother me out
in the bush.
Bench shooting it's not an item, but for gophers it's a
pain in the postier derrier.

SFRC has 2 of the old Bushnell Legend 3-9x40 that were made in the Philippines on sale for $139. Mine arrived today. These are decent scopes....the new ones are made in China and well.....that's never a good thing :)

What exactly are you using the scope for? Plinking? Benchrest? Tiny targets/groups? Breaking clays?

Hunting in the bush / trails... I use low magnification (x2-x3) for bush and higher magnification for the trail (x5-x9). I hunt grouse / whatever small game.

That Sightron S1 I bought is available up here from one of the site sponsors.
I humbly forget which one and comparable to the 4scopes cost to bring it up.
