Hey guys,

I havent see anything posted on this on the forum yet but I just found out that Bank Miller is coming to Calgary for a week long training event.
I dont know how many people came out last time he was here but what a great resource to learn from.

I am not sure about posting links but the course is being put on by the guys at ShadowForce [dot] ca and sounds like a blast. They plan to have a shot house and great food sounds like a week well spent.

Yeah Baby, I am in again. Just signed up for all 5 days of awesome training. I'm particularly looking forward to the vehicle assault and dynamic entry. Can't wait.w:h:

Is this open to the general public?? I heard a rumor about the vehicle assault aspect, but have not heard about the shoot house - where else in Canada can you play that game?
I'd love to get in on the shoot house and all its dynamics. Mr. Miller was a blast to learn with last year and it was a great crew of people in the course.
You can't beat 5 solid days of sustained firearms training :)
-D.

I just spoke to the folks at Shadowforce, sounds like a great training schedule for the Bank Miller course, 360 degree shoot house, Vehicle Assault, Dynamic Entry, Moving targets and a bunch of other great training.

I've heard that Bank Miller is a excellent instructor, I missed out on the course last year but I sure am looking forward to this one.

There are not a lot of courses of this type open to the public in Canada, so I'm really glad that this one is.

I went to LETC sixteen or so ago and Bank taught one of the courses. Well worth the experience if you can attend.

Bring ammo. We were only scheduled for a 600rd day and it turned in to a 900rd day. Darn it anyway...:D

I took the Bank Miller I last year, and it was fun. I have registered for Bank Miller II and the Precision Rifle II as well.

A great Gentleman to know... I have taken a Pistol instructors course and a Carbine course from him, simply outstanding, and fun!! He is a great instructor, might have to look into this!

Alright, I'll have to wait a little bit longer. The course date has been changed to October 22nd to 26th. More opportunity for those that really want to take an excellent course and learn lots from an instructor with more than 30 years experience in LE including DEA and FBI. Better weather too (a little cooler).

Awesome... it looks like it is a go, but they still have three seats available. If you've been thinking about taking a high level course, you cannot afford to miss this opportunity.

I took the Bank Miller II course. It was lots of fun. This course allows me to have an opportunity to practice low light, moving target and engaging targets while moving, bullet trajectory through glass, safest location behind a car, dynamic entry and room clearance using a shoot house. This was a hands on course and through any weather. I am looking forward to have more opportunities to learn and practice what I have learnt.

awesome course, wish I could have stayed for all 5 days! only made it to 4. well worth the money anyway! how did day number 5 go? must have been fun :D would definitely take another course with Bank and ShadowForce, great group of guys, lots of fun and learned a hell of a lot in the time spent there. I would fly down to texas for a week, talked to bank and he said if he had at least 8-10 people he would consider it, guess we'll see! until next year!

The shoot house was built on the range. Depending on the course, I would imagine that it will be used for room/house clearing training.
