Banner 6 X 24 X 40. What's it worth?

A buddy has a 6 X 24 Bushnell banner for sale. I am considering it for my HB .22 rim fire. It has indentations and marking from the rings but other than that it is in good shape. What is it worth? Will the indents from the rings hinder the function of the scope? Any advise is appreciated.

Slight crushing. I can feel the indentations as I run my fingers along the length of the tube. I seems the worst half way up the tube, likely where the two halves of the rings met.

The rings should never physically crush the scope tube. I'd also pass on a Banner from the get go. A Bushnell Trophy or Vortex Crossfire aren't that much more money, but are far better scopes IMO.
