Bar Solder

I agree with the above recommendation of Sayal, great place for electronic components and they do carry lead bars though I am not certain of the composition.
I work in designing electronics and most of the electronics component retailers will carry lead bar stock. I would imagine the price may be higher than you would have found from plumbing stock as the purity needs to be higher. http://www.digikey.ca/product-detail/en/04-6337-0050/KE1602-ND/265631 Digikey is a great Canadian online retailer and their shipping time is outstanding.

There are others you can try as well but I would expect prices to be similar.

Seems plumbers, roofers and auto body guys don't use bar solder anymore. At least I can't find any in Fredericton, N.B.
Anyone know where there might be some 50/50 stuff in southern N.B.?
Need it to mix with wheel weights for bullet casting.

It is still used when rebuilding muscle cars and antiques especially when doing the top seam on a quarter panel. I get it in the US when I go to carsile but there is a restoration shop in NB called Old Gold give them a call and they will probally have some to sell you or know where to get it. good luck

Most lead clip on weights are 95%+ lead and the rest is tin and/or antimony. Most stick on lead are pure or close to pure lead. Of course there are zinc and steal non toxic clip and stick on weights as well to sort out.

If there are pure tin or antimony wheel weights or anything scrap out there I'd love to find them.

Best start stock piling those 95% since I was getting some from a friend at a GM dealership for years and just in the last few year they are mostly gone. More and more new cars are coming lead free. Here is an older list probally doubled since 2006
