Hi Guys!

I have what appears to be a Bar-Sto Barrel for a 9mm Browning High Power.

This was part of the estate of a late buddy. I have no use for this item and would like to sell it to someone who can use it.

However, I have no idea what it is worth?

Anyone give me some guidance? I will add a picture tomorrow evening.

Cheers!

B

This barrel appears to have been fitted. Rifling appears very good, does not appear to have been used much.

Pre-mark2 style feed ramp (humped). Little less desirable then the straight ramps, nice barrel, maybe $200 tops.

I just bought a Brand New EFK Fire Dragon 9mm conversion barrel for a BHP. I'm glad this is for a 9mm slide not a .40 slide or I'd have been pissed that spent money on new and would have offered you money for it on the spot. But it's not compatible with my slide. ( 2 lugs vs. 3 lugs)

FWIW Bar Sto has a better reputation than EFK and I was quoted $260 after exchange by Bits of Pieces for the EFK. But that's for brand new.

I had Bar-Sto 9mm barrels fitted to my COMMERCIAL Browning Hi-Powers years ago. They were not compatible with Inglis versions and he offered an appropriate barrel.

I don't think that would have gone through anyway, to my knowledge Bar Sto isn't a registered exporter any more. Like some others who make great stuff, they sell everything they make without the hassle and cost of exporting. Nice kit, but the wait times are biblical.
