"...how many barrels were shot out..." Likely none. 'Shot out' to a hunter isn't the same thing as it is to a target shooter.
"...a lot for a mag..." It's a lot for anything, but it doesn't mean the rifle is toast. It just means the accuracy is what it used to be. Not that anybody would ever shoot that many rounds under normal conditions.
Jeez, Sunray...do you have ANY idea what 14K rounds would mean to a gun barrel?

Shot out is shot out, and at 14K you would be lucky to hit a barn wall from the inside.
Showing your lack of understanding once again.

Wonder how many barrels were shot out in 14K rounds.
The 300 Win mag is getting pretty sloppy, accuracy wise after 2K rounds.
The action??? Maybe. I'm a bit sceptical, though.

Canadian Rangers change the barrel on the SMLE .303 every 10K rounds. I've never fired 14K rounds out of any gun so I would have no idea what the condition of a barrel would be by then.
A .303 is much easier on a barrel than a .300 WM.
