A quick update....... rebedding and recrowning produced no gain, and 210 grain Bergers shot worse than the Sierras.
I picked up a .308 caliber Lilja fluted Remington Varmint contour, 6 groove 26" inch barrel and a Holland lug. I'll get that to my gunsmith today, and I'll bet that the next time I see it I'll have a sweet shooting .300 Win Mag. At $30 a pound for bullets and $40 a box match bullets this horse has been beat long enough. The Lilja was $425.
