Hi Guys,

Just noticed a 50% off sale on a no-name red dot at Cabelas ... so it's just $49.95.

At that price (and if you can pick it up at a store and not pay shipping) you really can't go wrong. And if it goes bad, Cabelas will do the right thing. Read the reviews.

I hadn't noticed the mention of free shipping ... and that is definitely the icing on the cake. I overlooked that a week or two ago on another sale item (code word was snowdays), until a sharp-eyed CGN'er pointed it out (in time, barely) and saved me $19. The free-shipping deal usually involves a minimum purchase of $150 ... did you top-up your order with something to reach that number? (It's a pleasant problem to have.)
