.270 Winchester seems an unusual choice for F-Class? The results obviously speak for themselves, so is this going to be the new,flavour of the month calibre?

The bullet is .277, this high BC 175gn bullet is made by Matrix Ballistics, it was the reason I went with a .277. The case however is NOT a 270Win, I was working on a 7mm wildcat (based on 376 Steyr case) for F-class, and I necked down to .277 in order to use this bullet. It shot well last year, so I decided to continue with it this year, but in a Match bbl.
 
i have always thought we were long overdue for a high bc 6.8mm bullet. with the right profile it should easily outperform 7mm bullets. I see the fellow making these is from Canada. i will have to check these out. I bet a 6.8-284 would be a fun cartridge. seems to me i have an 8 twist 277 barrel somewhere here too.
