im guessing this stuff is top class?

I have 30 cases of vor tx to go thru in time, thinking it will be great for neck sizing an reloading?

Barnes is owned by Cerberus Management Group, the same company that owns Remington. Barnes brass weighs out exactly the same as Remington and has the same head stamp. VOR-TX ammo was originally loaded at Remington.

I am uncertain about Barnes brass. I have had experience with only 2 chamberings...the 270 Winchester and the 338 Winchester.

In both instances, I found the brass to be on the soft side, with case heads exhibiting pressure signs well before Winchester or Remington cases in the same chamberings.

Additionally, the 338 brass had noticeably thinner brass in the neck than did any other brand I had to compare with.
It was so thin that when I resized the brass in a RCBS or a Redding FL die, the expander button did not touch the inside of the neck as the case was removed from the die.

For the asking price of Barnes brass, I will buy Lapua when it is available in the chambering I want.

Otherwise, I will stick with Winchester, which I have had a lot of success with over the past 25 years. Remington is also very good in some chamberings.

I do not like Federal brass at all, and avoid using it if at all possible.

Regards, Dave.
