I picked up a few boxes of .243 dia. 112 grain Barnes Match Burners on the EE a year or so ago and found then to be extremely accurate in my gun.
The problem now is that i can't seem to find them anywhere?

Does anyone here know where I could find some? I've tried all the site sponsors here on cgn and looked elsewhere on line as well.

Has anyone seen any? Or even have a stash you arent using?

Match burners are real hard to find. I use the 171 match burner in my 7/08 and find them almost impossible to find. X-reload has some 105 6mm Match burners you may like.

Barnes MatchBurners - BMB. They are difficult to find at the best of times. Almost impossible now, as with a lot of reloading product. The time to have been buying up reloading components was over a year ago.

I bought up just about 2K of 69gr .224 BMB for my bolt .223 around a year ago. I grab a bunch every time they can be found. They are virtually indistinguishable in accuracy from the Sierra 69gr SMK I normally run from 100 to 500m and they usually sell out quick.

The 140gr BMB are definitely not as good as the 140gr SMK I use in my 6.5CM, and I have spent too much time trying to get them to work better, so I have totally given up on them. The 175gr MB I tried in my .308 and 300WM are not as good as the Jugs, but not overly bad either for the price so they have their place. Funny how some of the BMB work incredibly well, like the .224's in my .223 and the 112gr .243 you have tried out, and other calibers just don't quite make the grade.

Sorry to say, but I haven't got a clue where you can find them. A good search engine and quite a bit of keyboard time might help. Good luck.

the 140gr MB shoot awesome in my 6.5cm with a number of powders, but I mainly use Win 760 and jump to lands is .170"

Hmm, maybe I just got three bad boxes to try out. I really tried, I swear! I started out with H4350 which is my standard powder for the 6.5CM, starting out adjusting seating depth for the different ogive length from the SMK and doing a small ladder. When that didn't work out, I started all over from scratch, doing full ladders with variable powder charges. Never could converge on anything that made my day. So I tried a full workup with Varget as well and that didn't help at all. I was going to go to Win760 but I was close to running out, so I tried H4895 instead. Nope. It just didn't give me any real joy either. Its not like the BMB 140gr are really bad, I just can't get them to shoot consistently good in my rifle. The SMK work great and so do the Berger hybrid from 100 to 500m. I might give the BMB 140gr .264 another go at some time in the future just for the fun of it, but I have a good supply of SMK and Berger to use first (enough to finish off this current barrel and another new one).

I tried some 155 gr Match Burners i my .308 target rifle. I was only able to test at 100m and ended up having to increase my powder charge by 1 gr to get them to group. The problem is 100m groups were just okay, at 300m the group was larger than the almost 2 min bull. At 500 and 600 yards I was lucky to hold the 4 ring. At 800m and 900m they would not hold the black. Worst 155 gr match bullet that I have ever shot, in fact the most inaccurate .308 bullet including IVI and Radway Green ball ammo.

I bought a box of 500 145 grain 6.5 mm match burners and they shoot real nice out of the 6.5x55 I've used them in, but can't find any more of them either. Probably the Remington bankruptcy sale didn't help the situation, seeing how they owned Barnes.

Figured I'd give an update.
Ellwood Epps had 5 boxes of the 112 grain 6mm bullets I've been looking for so I bought them all. Should keep me going for a while.

Prophet river has .224 85 grain, 308 155 and 175 grain and 68 grain 6mm match burners.

If I come across any more I'll let you guys know.
