Any one have any thoughts on this bullet?
I'm looking at picking up some factory Federals for my 300WM and give them a go.

It should be a excellent bullet. It's supposed to be an improved TSX which in my opinion is the best one out there already.

How much is the factory stuff? I kind of remember another CGN member posting that it was $50 for a box of 20? Ouch, if that is true. Thank god for reloading equipment.

While I'm very interested in the MRX, I can't see them having too distinct an advantage over the TSX. Perhaps I'll pick up a box and do some longer range penetration testing...

$70 bucks a box for factory ammo...FUN!

hard to beat the TSX, any advantage a MRX would have, wouldnt be realized by someone who shoots store bought ammo...

Is all in the marketing.
Get something new or else!!!

I'd try to put a dab of epoxy at the end of a regular TSX.... :p

Seriously...is it worth dismantling some a-max ammo for the tips?
just thinking that we can save some money.....
or start a bullet making company that all can afford...

Well...that settles that. I never realized those puppies were that expensive.
For now, I best stick with the more moderately priced, proven ammo...even if it is store bought;)

Thanks guys.

At least there is a large selection of factory ammo with premium bullets available. Factory stuff is as good as it's ever been, and you won't have to pay over $2.00 / round.
