Barnes TSX and Varget for 308 Win...have a question

I have a box of 165 gr TSX's here...I want to try them in my Tikka 308.
I have 3 very good loads for this bullet weight and powder combo...the loads are 44 to 44.5 gr's of Varget with Hndy Interbonds and Nosler partitions and Speer GrandSlams....

Do ya think it would be a good/safe starting point to try the same powder charge with the TSX's....the Barnes Manual doesn't list Varget in their X Bullets data for the the 308 Win....does for the XLC though,between 42.5 and 46.5

Any thoughts

start at 43 grs and work up slow

used IMR 3031...37.5....two shots toucking,the first one wsa from a clean cold barrel and was about .25" higher than the other 2

37.5 gr. Imr 3031 is about 2300 fps.........nice target load
