Barnes Varmint Grenade bullets

I've heard accuracy is marginal with the 223's, and okay with the 22-250's
I am waiting for the 20 cal stuff to show up. 26 gr out of the 204 should be around 4500 fps. BC will be lousy though, so it will run out of steam fairly quickly. Should be able to point and shoot up to 300 yds and watch skippy vaporize through the scope. I hope they are accurate cause it's no point in using them if you can't connect with them. My 39 gr sierra blitz kings will shoot under 1/2" at 100 yds all day long. If the grenades can't do this, then it's no point in using them. The blitz kings have excellent red mist and helicopter action with the prairie poodles.
 
In the 223 very poor accuracy over an MOA out of a Remington Varmint. We did some expansion tests on water bottles not what we expected. The v-max and the TNT are way more accurate and distructive. They won't be coming with us when the gophers come out in May
 
I found them to be very accurate out of my 22-250 and my Hornet, and moderately accurate from my 222; though less devastating than the poly-tipped varmint bullets. About on par with TNT's
 
I've found that the grenades are junk, made the mistake of buying a big pack. For .223 id go with 35, 0r 40 grain v-max.
 
I shoot the Grenades shoot pretty good in my 223,the only powder that works with them is Benchmark.28 grains for just over 3800 and 3/4" groups.Thats best I can get them to do.Any other powder and they open up to 11/2 to 2"
