I'm looking to have a sling swivel stud attached to the barrel band of my Winchester 94. I'm aware of the ones that clamp to the magazine tube, but I don't care for them. Anyone aware of a gunsmith that can do that for me? Pretty simple job for someone with the requisite skills methinks.

Any gunsmith should be able to do that, should just be a matter of drilling and tapping the existing band. I had some waterjet out of SS a while ago for gits and shiggles, but had to shape them with a die grinder and ind some odd ball taps, but I still have the CAD file if it's something you want to try.
